From tree sections to lovely pots

I want to tell you a sotry about a tree section how becomes to a lovely cactus or/and succulent pot.

At first, you have to find a tree section to drill. Please don't cut down a tree for this. I know they are very cute but even they doesn't worth a whole tree!

Use wood drilling bits.

They are suitable for this work. I prefer second one but i have the first one :)

a view from my working place.

Cactuses or succulents don't require more space for rooting. Therefore they are good for planting narrow areas like these holes.

Shape them with whatever you want (or you can :) ). Look! There are clouds!! (also good for expanding the hole area)

Or draw a shape on it! Like this hat (!!!)

And then, plant your sweeties <3 !

Here is the lovely basils! All their need is sun.

About 6 months ago i took it from my lovely and kind friend :). It was too tiny but looks very healthy.

I planted it to a large pot, gave water and placed a nice, sunny place.  It really grows very fast! Really fast. After a few weeks, there is nothing left behind the tiny cute little basil but a sexy, healthy grown up herb! Remind me to upload a picture of that sexy green thing <3.

Hello from an old wash bowl

If it is good time for planting tulip and crocus bulbs, but you haven't got a proper pot, you can plant them into a wash bowl also as well.

This year, i plant them as the instructions on their packages. Tulips to the outer circle, crocus' to the inner circle.

I'm still waiting for them to sprout. I plant them about 1 month ago and there is no any sprouts yet.

Raised bed 101

I made my first raised bed. I know it's too basic but it works! If you have a wall, you can easily make one bed like this. The woods are for separating areas. I plant a tiny sage at first, thiking about to plant oregano or rosemary. But that is the problem, oregano and rosemary loves sun, sage is not. Maybe i left the bed for just sage, because i love it!

You can make tea, roll smudge sticks, use in meals, even sell this lovely and holy herb :). It just wants enough water and a shaded place to live.

The bed is about 2.5 x 0.50 x 0.30 meters. I used old planks as you see. This one is costs me totaly 0 $, 0 € or 0 another currency :))

and yes, i know... i will strengthen the planks  :) ...

Growing Sage

Fresh sage from garden.

To grow your own sage in your garden is so simple. You can get knots or seedlings from mountain hikes, Plant them in a well shaded area by choice in winter and don't let its earth to dry.

After about a week to 10 days, you'll see new green leaves on top :)
